Troubleshooting answers may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsafe, and may not fit your specific make, model, year, or condition. It is not professional mechanical, electrical, gas, HVAC, legal, or safety advice, and no professional relationship is created. Always verify against the manufacturer's official documentation and local codes, and consult a qualified, licensed professional for safety-critical work. The software is designed to decline guidance on certain hazardous systems (e.g., airbags/SRS, gas lines, refrigerant, high-voltage); do not try to circumvent those limits. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to perform any repair. See the Safety Disclaimer.

6. Acceptable use

Don't: (a) scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or build a competing dataset from the Service; (b) resell or sublicense access; (c) submit links to, or request, pirated or infringing material; (d) use the Service to break the law or harm others; (e) probe, overload, or bypass usage limits or security; (f) submit others' personal information or sensitive information (health, financial account numbers, government IDs) in chat or in the answer-feedback box; (g) try to manipulate answers or ratings, for example by sending automated, fake, or bulk feedback; (h) misuse the troubleshooting assistant to produce harmful content.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of questions you submit ("Inputs"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Inputs and resulting answers to operate, secure, and [improve] the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Answer feedback. You may rate an answer and, if you want, type what actually fixed the problem. We store your feedback with the problem area and the vehicle or product make. We do not link it to your account, email, or cookie ID. We use it only to improve and rank future answers. Once a reported fix reaches a net score of 2 (helpful votes minus not-helpful votes), its text may be shown to other users as a possible cause. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and display feedback for those purposes. Do not include personal information (names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, VINs, license plates, or account numbers). We may edit or remove any feedback. We keep feedback for [RETENTION]. 8. Our content and trademarks

The Service's software, design, and original text are ours or our licensors'. Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING TROUBLESHOOTING ANSWERS, USER FEEDBACK SHOWN AS POSSIBLE CAUSES, AND LINKED CONTENT, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY REPAIR YOU PERFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) [$50].
